MVSU Alumnus Townsend recruiting students for the Valley

Mr. Earl Townsend, Recruitment Chair of the MVSU NAA Atlanta Metro Alumni Chapter, recently visited Langston Hughes High School in Fairburn, GA to meet with three students planning to attend Mississippi Valley State University in the fall. Mississippi Valley State has afforded me so many opportunities and this is my way of giving back to my alma mater, said Townsend.tiffany cosey_Atlanta

Tiffany will attend MVSU on a Presidential Scholarship

In addition, the Atlanta Metro Alumni Chapter recently initiated the Counselor of the Year recognition program to highlight a High School Counselor who collaborates with the local chapter to enhance Atlanta Metro Students educational experience by encouraging them to attend college, preferably MVSU. Ms. Sandra Allen was named the 2015-16 Counselor of the Year.
